Little Reader

Hello everyone. I'm back today with a layout that celebrates my son's love of reading.

As soon as I saw the patterned paper with the news article, "Cozy Up To A Good Book," I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for my layout.

I liked the fun polka dot pattern on the reverse side too, so I cut the paper in half to use both sides.

This paper is from Pebble's Happy Day collection. A fun feature of Pebbles' paper: each sheet includes a little strip of coordinating pattern at the bottom.

The strip on the bottom of this sheet was gray graph paper. I cut it off and used it to divide my page.

I hung playful banners below then anchored my layout with a tag and title.

Here's another look at the whole page:

I made this layout with the January kit at My Creative Scrapbook. I had such fun with it this month.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Super fun page, Izzy (and it was fun seeing how it came together)! This is colorful and playful and so perfect for a layout about reading! I always love how you use banners!

  2. Ohhhhhhhhhh I love love love this! LOVING that "cozy up with a good book" paper, the colors and the stitching!!!!!

  3. Love this page! There's nothing better than a quiet weekend at home reading. I wouldn't have known that was the A and B sides of the same paper - great job!

  4. Very cute page, it has that Pebbles look - clean and happy! I like that particular design a lot.

  5. Love those fun bright colours! Great layout!
